Fund-raising dinner to aid Girls State
The American Legion Auxiliary will host a chicken dinner fund-raiser on Saturday, April 30, at the Vacaville Veterans Hall. Proceeds will help to send three teenagers to Girls State, an American citizenship program. The cost of the dinner is $13 with a no-host cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m.

A busy burglary suspect was nabbed by Suisun City police after at least three homes were hit there Friday. Arrested on suspicion on burglary and possessing stolen property was Kenzell Easley, 18, of Fairfield. Suisun City police Sgt. Bob Szmurlo said Easley was taken into custody about 10:30 a.m.
