This photo appeared on the front page of the Antelope
Valley Section of the Los Angeles Daily News on April 3, 2005 - the day
the Pope died. It didn't tell all the reasons were out there, detailing
six inmate deaths and reports of torture but other mediums have been telling
the story. Full exposure of the situation has not yet been achieved
and we may need to go back to picket again soon. Photographer was
Jeff Goldberg of the Daily News. Fox News also covered the
event but in the Lancaster area only. One guard's death is very important,
six dead inmates get minimal news coverage. This is a situation that
requires more pickets and more letters to editors.
